Data on Consumer-Driven Health Plans

The Employee Benefit Research Institute recently published Brief 345 regarding the use of high deductible and consumer-driven health plans.  The Brief gives statistics and insight into what is happening with the use of these plans, as employers offer them as a component of their overall plan to help employees make better choices in the use of healthcare resources.  For example, the brief reports that 20% of employers with 200-499 employees are offering HDHPs.  Check out the brief at ebri.org.
