NAWHC Survey of On-Site Programming

NAWHC
The National Association of Worksite Health Centers has just launched a national survey of employers to determine and define the nature of the health care that is being provided (and planned!) for employees at the workplace.

This is an important effort that will build upon other surveys conducted by the organization since its inception and it will be an effort that will inform the Board about how the Association should deploy its resources and how it should leverage its influence in the future.  Frankly, there is a lot to learn about worksite health programming and there is a lot yet to discover about how these programs work.  We need to develop a simple taxonomy that even describes what these sites are doing and how they can be classified!

NAWHC, under the guidance of its CEO – Larry Boress, is the one organization that dedicates its efforts to providing timely and accurate information to the industry.  When you get this survey, be sure to take some time and fill it out completely.  If you do not get one, and would like to participate, go to the NAWHC website and send them an inquiry.  Browse their WEB site and, if your firm has not yet joined, now is the time!  We will carry some of the information on the survey results on this site and we will add some of it to our newsletter — hopefully, it will reflect statistics that includes data from your firm.
