Premise Health Acquires eHealthScreenings

Premise Health has acquired San Antonio-based biometric testing provider eHealthScreenings, according to the article “Water Street-backed Premise Health buys eHealthScreenings” by Iris Dorbian. No financial terms have been disclosed, but the agreement will provide Premise with a wide array of health testing options made possible by eHealthScreenings’ network of over 3,000 certified wellness technicians with access to over 1,700 lab locations across the country. Considered an industry leader, eHealthScreenings’ services include comprehensive screening panels and biometric tests, advanced analytics and reporting capabilities, and personalized patient results in as few as one to two days.

Both companies look forward to the mutual partnership. Jason Morgese, CEO of eHealthScreenings, says he hopes the partnership will “provide [eHealthScreenings] with the resources and support [it] needs to continue [its] track record of success.”

Premise Health considers eHealthScreenings a “strategic acquisition” that will be key in Premise’s plan for growth through expanding its direct primary care platform. The news on eHealthScreenings came just two months after Premise announced a two-year plan for implementing Epic Systems integrated electronic medical record technologies into their locations.
