InHouse Physicians began in the early 1990’s as a corporation focused on providing medical coverage for employees of corporations attending large meetings, in the U.S. or abroad. From there, beginning in 2004, they turned attention to adding on-site services to broaden their offerings to more employers and employees.
They state they use population health management and proprietary narrow networks to reduce costs overall. They do on-site, near site and multi-employer locations, responding to RFPs from just about anywhere. They currently (November, 2015) operate 16 clinics in 8 states, but emphasize they have the ability to operate throughout the U.S.
They provide comprehensive management of the site with all the typical services (dental, pharmacy, wellness, physical therapy, PCMH, optical, etc.) using the standard cost plus model for billing.
