On-Site Healthcare is Big Business – Really Big
We have watched Premise Health grow and grow and grow over the past four years. The transition continues as it was announced that Water Street Healthcare Partners (who created Premise by the acquisition and merger of Walgreens’ Take Care and CHS Health Services in 2014), sold its ownership interest in Premise to OMERS Private Equity. What will this mean? Even further growth, we’re sure. During the four years that Water Street has been involved, according to the press release, Premise has grown to include services in 44 states, Guam and Puerto Rico with more than 4500 employees and 600 health and wellness centers – including many Fortune 1000 companies.
Stu Clark, CEO of Premise, has years of experience in the on-site field (previously with CHS), describes Premise as “. . . truly the gateway that is connecting companies, employees and their family members to phenomenal care so they can live healthier, more productive lives.” This most recent financial step not only rewarded investors, but promises to continue the targeted, strategic growth that we have seen in the last four years under his leadership and the backing of Water Street.
