Catalyst for Payment Reform
While we just recently found out about this organization, it has apparently been around since 2009. We are going to quote directly here from their website, the mission of the organization, “CPR provides thought leadership to and coordination among large health care purchasers who want to shape a more sustainable health care system.”
Their website has a ton of information, and they have newsletters, a blog, and webinars which focus on pricing transparency, price negotiation, quality, and numerous other ways in which employers can work on driving down healthcare costs and driving up outcomes. http://www.catalyzepaymentreform.org/about-catalyst-for-payment-reform
