This is a web site developed and maintained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid using data from Medicare claims, the Joint Commission, the CDC and other sources to provide information indicative of quality.  You can search for data for a hospital by zip code, city, state or hospital name.  This can be a tremendously helpful site when attempting to compare quality (for contracting by your staff, or for employees when choosing a local hospital for services).
