Mayo Clinic and Premise Health – a brand new addition to on-site clinic capabilities

It was announced recently (May, 2019) that Premise Health (the largest provider of on-site clinic services, responsible for care at more than 600 clinic sites throughout the majority of the United States, covering at least 275 clients) and the Mayo Clinic will be working together to improve care for Premise client employees and their dependents.  This is a game-changer, and we wonder now what will happen next.   Will the Cleveland Clinic form a similar alliance with another large clinic provider?   The possibilities for improving care and reducing costs are seemingly incalculable at this time, due to the coverage of Premise and the capabilities and quality of service of the Mayo clinicians.  The data that can be gathered will also be invaluable in improving care and reducing expense.  This was on the horizon, it had to happen, and now is the time.
