Johns Hopkins offers “Employee Health and Wellness Centers™” with a focus on reducing employee out-of-pocket medical expenses, transportation costs, and out-of-work time.  The Centers have extensive prevention programs which attempt to help the employee identify and reduce risk factors as well as better control serious medical conditions.  Health education and events give employees insight and facilitate healthy changes like weight loss and smoking cessation.
