Founded in 2009, this has been a regional firm, serving primarily Indiana but with a few others in the Midwest. In 2013 it embarked upon a project financed internally, planning to open seven clinics for use by any employer in the greater Indianapolis area (these are called “Myclinic” and employees can “join its network to use any of the seven clinics, whichever is closest to where they live or work.”). These clinics are now open and operational (September, 2015) and they have announced plans to open another network in the Charlotte, NC area in the next year or so. The formation of these multi-employer clinics with multiple sites in a single geographical area would hopefully reduce start-up costs for the employers and on-going expenses should likewise be reduced on a per visit basis.
Their services are comprehensive including wellness, care management, interconnectivity between sites, etc. They also offer pediatric urgent care in some areas. Professional staffing is through a Physician Group which they use to provide physicians, mid-level providers and others to staff the clinic locations.
