Florida On-site Clinics Multiply
We have featured several other on-site clinic openings in Florida on this site in the past, including last August when Pasco County school district put their clinics out to bid. It seems as though Florida is a hot bed (no pun intended) of activity for the on-site industry, especially for government employees.
Well, the Pasco County site is now open and two more are scheduled to open in the future. CareHere won the contract (see our previous article on this bidding project).
The current site is staffed with a physician, an RN and an x-ray tech. Officials hope to save $3M in the first year of operation. CareHere operates clinics for 16 employers in Florida.
